A Game Lodge Safari in Tanzania can take various forms, according to Clients’ preferences. Basically there are four kinds of lodge accommodation on the safari circuit:

5-star game lodges (such as Serena & Sopa properties),
2-3-star wildlife lodges (these include the ordinary Hotels & Lodges properties), standard safari lodges and luxury/semi-luxury tented lodges.

Most of the lodges are situated within National Parks although some are located on the outskirts. For example, Serengeti Serena, Mbuzi Mawe, Seronera and Lobo Wildlife Lodges are on the Serengeti plains; Ndutu Safari Lodge is in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just on the border of southern Serengeti and both Tarangire Sopa and Tarangire Safari Lodge are within Tarangire Park.

Those situated outside include Manyara Serena Lodge, Gibbs Farm in Karatu (where many campsites and standard lodges are handily placed between Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater) and Twiga Lodge & Campsite in Mto wa Mbu (native Africats’ second home).
