What are Terms & Conditions?
Terms & Conditions tell you what is included/excluded in your excursion price as well as stating Africat’s liabilities and disclaimers. For example:

Prices include the following: Airport shuttles on arrival and departure, all local transportation, accommodation and meals as stated on the itinerary, professional English-speaking drivers and guides, Park Entry and camping fees, 4WD safari vehicle with open roof.

Prices do not include: international airfares, airport departure taxes, travel insurance, cancellation/curtailment insurance, communication charges, gratuities/tips, excess baggage charges, all meals & alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages unless included in itinerary, emergency evacuation, laundry and excursions extra to itinerary.

Children: Consult us for specific age requirements for your itinerary of choice. Misrepresentation of age may result in the termination of your safari without a refund.

Health: People not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, advanced pregnancy or mental illness should not participate in these rigorous travel programs. Africat will book accommodation and make alterations to trips and schedules as necessary. See Health Requirements for more detailed information.

Wild Animals: Please be aware that safaris may take you into close contact with wild animals. No safari can guarantee that this will not occur. See the Disclaimer of Responsibility for more information.

Safari changes: Africat reserves the right to change or modify the itinerary of any safari for any reason that they deem fit, including the health of participants, transportation scheduling changes or security issues beyond their control.

Reservations: Potential participants may request a reservation to be held in their name(s) for a period of 21days only, without payment of deposit. If no contact or payment is received during this grace period Africat will release the reservation for immediate rebooking.

To confirm your reservation you must provide Africat with:
• Payment of non-refundable deposit (see Payment & Deposit description)

• Wildlife Safari - 30% deposit on booking, 40% within 60 days before safari date remaining 30% Local Payment (Cash)
• Cancellation within 21 days prior to safari is 100% no refund
• Cancellation within 40 days prior to safari is 50% refund
• Cancellation 60 days prior to safari is 100% refund

• Mountain Climbing- 50% deposit, 30% within 60 days before trekking date remaining 20% Local Payment (Cash)
• Cancellation within 21 days prior to mountain trekking is 100% no refund
• Cancellation within 40 days prior to mountain trekking is 50% refund
• Cancellation 60 days prior to mountain trekking is 100% refund

• Africat documentation – completed in full and signed.
• Reservation Booking Form

After receipt of the above-mentioned requirements, Africat will officially confirm your reservation and will forward vouchers, safari details, mountain details and packing recommendations.
